Playing the game
At start all cards are placed in the 8 columns - face up. The object of the game is to move all
cards to the dump piles at upper right by beginning with Ace and then in increasing order to King.
The upper left squares is a work area where you can place cards temporarily.
Here is how you do it:
- Moving cards: You can move cards by dragging them between the columns or up to
the work piles and the dump piles. The rule when moving cards between columns is that the bottom card
in the receiving column must have a different color and be one value higher.
I.e you can put a red six on a black seven, or a black knight on a red queen. You can place any card
in an empty column. You can drag a single card or a suit of cards. The cursor pointer will change to
a hand when moved over a card that is allowed to drag. And when a card is clicked, the markers will show
allowed receiver columns.
- Dumping cards: For dumping cards, you can either drag them to the dump piles, or click the 'dump'
button above the columns to let the program find all cards to dump. The cards are dumped in increasing order
in each suit - starting with Ace and ending with King. Which pile you drag the cards to doesn't matter - the
program will select the proper one. You also have the choice to let the program automatically find cards to
remove, by selecting that in the Settings dialog.
