Playing the game
In the
Settings dialog you can choose the size of the start-up amount, and if you want
winning bets to
stay on the table. You can also choose what kind of chips you want to
use, and if you want to change the look of the floor.
The program uses the same rules as ordinary casinos, with the possible exception that
you can bet as much as you like on any single winning opportunity. You make your bets
by dragging chips onto the board, and as you move the chip, the valid numbers for that
bet are marked. When you are done betting, you press the
Spin button to start the
roulette wheel. It will randomly rotate clock- or anticlock-wise with the ball always
rotating in the opposite direction.
When the wheel has stopped and a winning number has been selected any wins are
payed out. Losing chips are removed, but winning chips remain on the board if that is
chosen in Settings. If you still want to remove them - just press the
Clear button.
Odds
The odds for the different bettings follow
international rules and are as follows:
One number | Plain (straight up) | 35 |
Two numbers | Cheval (split) | 17 |
Three numbers | Transversal (street) | 11 |
Four numbers | Carré (corner) | 8 |
Six numbers | Simple (six line) | 5 |
Twelwe numbers | column/dozen | 2 |
Eighteen numbers | red/black odd/even high/low | 1 |
Notes
The
winning numbers square can be shown/hidden by pressing the
arrow on the right
side.
Right-clicking the
background image will show it without any disturbing buttons and
boards.
In the statistics window you can also right-click the background to see it clean.
