Playing the game
To win the game you must move all the cards to the four Goal piles at
the upper right - one for each suit. At game start one card is put into the Goal
piles, and this decides what card value you must start with. From there you
continue up to the King, and then start over again with an Ace (unless Ace was
the original starting card).
Here is how you do it:
- Flip cards from the Bank to the Preview: By clicking on the Bank pile,
you can flip cards over to the Preview pile. The number of cards flipped
can be specified in the settings dialog to 1, 2 or 3. And when the Bank
pile has been emptied, you can click on its marking to flip all cards back
again.
- Moving cards: You can move cards to a column from the Preview pile,
the Reserv pile, the Goal piles or from another column. The rule is that
the card in the receiving column must be one value higher and have a
different color than the the card being moved. You can for example
move a black Four to a column with a red Five. Exception: To a column
with an Ace, you can move a King of a different color.Between columns
you can also move suits of cards. Note: If you empty a column, it will
automatically be filled with a card from Reserv - as long as there are
any cards left there.
- Removing cards to the Goals: In the settings dialog you can select to
show the 'removing' button to the left of the Goal piles. When you click
it, the program will check for any cards to remove. But you can of
course always also use the mouse to drag them to the Goal piles.
Hints:
A good advice is to try to empty the
Reserv pile to the left of the columns.
This will of course get all cards into play, and make it easier for you to win the
game.
If cards in a column are
hidden behind the score panel, you can
right-click it
to move it to the left.
Right-clicking the Exit button will show the background without any disturbing buttons and cards.
Right-clicking the background will restore the window.
Clicking the score panel will turn on a small win/lose
video in that panel.
Clicking it again will close it.
