Playing the game
At start you have seven columns with three rows of cards. That leaves 31
cards in the bank pile at top left. The goal is to move all of the column cards
to the foundation piles above - starting each pile with an ace and ending it
with a king.
Here is how you do it:
- Dealing cards: Clicking on the bank pile will deal a row of cards to the columns.
The last click will deal the remaining 3 cards only.
- Moving cards: You can move cards between the columns or to the foundation piles (see below).
The only rule is that the bottom card in the receiving column must have a different color and be one value higher.
I.e you can put a six on a seven, or a knight on a queen - as long as they have different colors.
You can place any card in an empty column. You can drag a single card or a suit of cards. The
cursor pointer will change to a hand when moved over a card that is allowed to drag.
- Dumping cards: For dumping cards, you can either double-click them or drag them to the
foundation piles. You can also click the 'dump' button above the columns to let the program find
all cards to dump. The cards are dumped in increasing order in each suit - starting with an ace
and ending with a King. Which pile you drag the cards to doesn't matter - the program will select
the proper one.
Notes:
As usual it pays to empty one or more columns, which makes it easier to build suits and get all cards visible.
Right-clicking a hidden card will show it - if you don't mind cheating a little.
If the score panel is
hiding cards in a column, you can
right-click it to move it.
Left-licking the score panel will turn on a small win/lose video in that panel. Clicking it again will close it.
Right-clicking the Exit button will show the background without any disturbing buttons and cards.
Right-clicking the background will
restore the window.
